Wenty Liu 刘圆络 (Guangzhou and Shenzhen)
During Wenty’s over 17 year career she has spent 7 years in the UK. During her role with Wilton Partners, Wenty has been responsible for searching for global investment opportunities, managing due diligence for cross-border M&A projects, and identifying promising Chinese potential buyers for overseas investment projects. Until recently, Wenty, has participated and contributed to more than 30 cross-border M&A or business development deals. Wenty began her career at CMC Markets, one of the largest financial derivatives firms in the UK, as a trader on the U.S. Equities and ICT desk (Index Futures, Commodities, and Treasuries). She developed keen client risk awareness capabilities in the form of overall book exposure and liaising with senior traders. Wenty also served high net-worth individuals (HNWIs), building relationships by monitoring the execution of client trades, coaching the usage of the trading platform and providing trading ideas. She also analyzed the most active clients’ trading strategies and making suggestions whether the client should hedge their positions. Her current focus is primarily cross-border financial services, financial technology and healthcare sectors, leveraging previous Sino-foreign experiences. Wenty holds an MSc in Financial Mathematics from Warwick Business School, Coventry (UK), BE in Electrical Engineering from Guangdong University of Technology (China).
